State of SFNEOnline Address 2018
I wanted to start off by thanking everybody for their huge support in 2017 ! As we start to grow and bring you guys more and more content and increase focus on what we are about, I wanted to go over quickly some awesome things we covered in 2017 and what you can expect in 2018 !
2017 In Review :
- SFNEOnline slowly start to come alive on the site and forums again !
- Our First Time attending IAAPA
- Cool behind the scenes videos
- Holiday In The Park opened for the first time at SFNE
These were only a few of the awesome things we did and tried to accomplish . We covered many different things, tried different things, some people loved them, some people didn’t care so much ! So with that We head to 2018 with a brand new focus !
This year the main focus within articles & videos will be the following :
- New England Parks – We are trying to make sure we cover all of the parks in this region
- VLOGS – We did two last year that people enjoyed , which was ” A Day at Six Flags New England” & # 2 was “Fright Fest” – We will put more time and effort into those and see what everybody likes and dislikes !
- Park Walk Through’s – A suggestion came up that we film a walk through at the parks , so we will do that .
- Media Days – Which ever park extends a hand and allowing us to attend Media Days, we will gladly go and cover the events .
- On Ride Pov’s – Most of the time this can be obtained with Media Day or Park Permission
- Food Reviews – It has been suggested to do these for different parks as people are looking for food in the parks, sometimes there is a hidden gem or two in a park besides the basic food .
- Ride Reviews/ride history – Another idea that came to light was reviewing a ride that we may have not ridden or someone looking to see a reaction from a certain ride, as well as history of rides in parks
- History of defunct and existing parks – Obviously for the New England Region . There is a lot of cool information out there but could turn into a great video or article showcasing parks that younger fans may not have heard of or couldn’t find information about and see what they missed .
- Interviews with park personnel
- Coaster Enthusiast Events we attend
You get the point!
We are bringing in some new people to help with SFNEOnline , so we can make sure Social Media, YouTube and the Website keep going in the right direction !
Make sure to check the main page every so often as we will be posting articles, reviews, and videos !
The website is going to get a new look, nothing crazy , just an update. So we are looking for someone to take care of that.
Everything you loved about the website will stay the same ! The forums are starting to come alive once again and discussions are flowing ! Make sure to sign up in the forums and let us know you did so we can make sure you get approved right away !
As for The Grove Show, we will be entering our 7th Season , starting on February 15th at 8:30 PM EST !
This year we are going to try different things and try to create a great format . We have been brain storming and still have some more to do, but we are trying to make a great show and change it up and will still stay fan orientated as always with comments and questions from Fans during the show in the live comment section ! It evolves and becomes its own beast , so make sure to tune in live each and every Thursday night when it returns ! You can watch past episodes over at www.youtube.com/therealgroveshow
