Turnstile Tuesday – Boulder Dash Mountain Coaster at Lake Compounce

Week 2 of SFNE Online’s Turnstile Tuesday takes a look back at the 2017 Lake Compounce off-season when Boulder Dash was receiving some retracking / reprofiling by Martin & Vleminckx. This included the replacement of the triple-up to a double-up hill on the final stretch of the ride.
Voted as the #1 Wooden Roller Coaster in the World multiple times, Boulder Dash’s layout navigates LC’s mountainside terrain to provide a truly unique and fun experience. Looking to kick it up a notch? Then make sure to get some night rides through the trees in the dark!
As a reminder we want to encourage everyone’s participation in these posts. What do you and don’t you like about our Turnstile Tuesday featured ride? Is it a must hit or a no thank you each visit? Do you have a favorite memory or worst nightmare experience to share? Really anything that you can think of regarding the ride and even it’s fit within the park. Feel free to add your favorite pics in the comments too! Also, don’t forget to message us if you’d like to share pics or video clips of your favorite rides for consideration in a future post as we do our best to build this out.
How do you rank Boulder Dash, the Custom Coasters International creation, at Lake Compounce? Would you like to see any future updates or upgrades done to the ride experience? New Trains / Track Changes? Please add to the discussion and leave your comments below!
