Turnstile Tuesday – Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure
With Six Flags Great Adventure kicking off their 2021 season this Saturday, March 27th, Turnstile Tuesday is staying in Jackson, NJ for a featured look at Nitro!
Nitro is a 230ft tall Bolliger & Mabillard Hyper Coaster which was introduced back in 2001 and still today is considered one of the best ones ever made. If you like speed, floater air and comfortable trains B&M Hyper’s are for you. Featuring clamshell restraints, Nitro’s trains give an open air feel adding to the enjoyment of the ride.
Due to Nitro’s location and height you get great views of Prospertown Lake while riding during the day. With most of the layout being outside the normal park area night rides are in the dark adding even more fun to the experience. Want to ride a Hyper in December in the Northeast? During SFGAdv’s awesome HITP event, that has extended the park’s season, Nitro is one of the featured coasters that is open.
