Six Flags Flavors Of The World Food Festival Debuts At Great Adventure

New for 2023 is Flavors of the World at Six Flags Great Adventure. This new event highlighting worldwide culinary creations is running 2-8PM on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays Now – August 13th. So what is this new food festival?
The Flavors of the World Festival invites you to sample traditional treats while taking in the sights, sounds and smells of lively street markets. At Six Flags Great Adventure you can enjoy elote from Mexico, Korean poached pears from Korea, spanakopita from Greece, escargot from France, arancini from Italy, kheer from India, jerk shrimp skewers from the Caribbean and so much more!

Besides the Culinary Trip around the world guests can also get in the groove with the Steel Pan Band as they jam to authentic Caribbean tunes and will be entranced by the internationally-acclaimed AATMA performing arts company as they present “Color of India”, highlighting some of Bollywood’s most iconic hits.
This event brings the world to your front door, featuring entertainment & food from 7 different countries! No passport needed!

You’re probably thinking, it sounds good but is it? Great question! On Saturday June 24th, thanks to the hospitality of Six Flags Great Adventure, we were invited to come enjoy the Flavors Of The World Food Festival experience first hand. Here’s a recap from Charles visit and we can confirm no M&M’s were harmed creating it 😉

How Does The Flavors Of The World Festival Work?
You won’t need a government issued passport but in order to embark on this Tasty Adventure you will need to purchase a Flavors Of The World Food & Beverage Passport. You can order them online ahead of time or once inside the park you can pick one up at the Passport booth.

Six Flags Great Adventure is inviting guests to enjoy Flavors Of The World Food Festival during the day and vibrant fireworks at 9:30 p.m. nightly, July 1-4. The Flavors of the World Festival extends the popular weekend event two extra days. One of the New Jersey’s largest synchronized fireworks celebrations continues for four nights during the 4th of July Fireworks Celebration Presented by Coca-Cola™.

Weird right? A complete report about visiting Great Adventure yet we haven’t really talked about any rides. Well our day was busy with enjoying the Flavors Of The World Festival but that doesn’t mean that we also didn’t have a great day of rides too. None better than finally being able to say THE BULL IS BACK!
